Integral Website Analysis

Frequently Asked Questions

Clients often have questions while considering which service to use. Below you will find some of the most frequently asked ones.

Q. Why should I pick this Website Analysis Report service?

A. Integral Website Analysis is part of Integralvision Web Design. We have been established for over ten years and are one of the most respected web design companies in the Southwest of England. Integralvision is listed on the Business Link Business Services Register as an Approved Supplier of web design and IT services. Integralvision is also a Technology Partner in The EU funded BioCop Consortium. The BioCop Project includes 33 partners representing 16 EU Member States. Unlike most people who offer website analysis reports, we are not a search engine optimisation company or a marketing company, we are web designers who understand what makes sites work.

Q. What make you experts?

A. All our designers and programmers are trained to degree level and have a minimum of five years experience of web design. In 2008 we won the Tourism Website of the Year at the Southwest Tourism Excellence Awards, Best Corporate Website at the Southwest Media Innovation Awards and Tourism Website of the Year Silver Award at the national Enjoy England Awards for Excellence. Recent Integralvision clients include Natural England (English Nature), The Woodland Trust, Cambridge University Press, University College London, Queens University Belfast, Dartington Trading and Dartmoor National Park Authority.

Q. Why do we need your service?

A. In 2008, 89% of UK consumers encountered problems when making transactions online and 49% of UK consumers said they abandoned transactions when they encountered a problem. Issues with trust and security affect shoppers' decisions whether to use a site or not and you often only have seconds to convince them to stay on your site. Smaller businesses particularly struggle to win users' confidence. Most small businesses know very little about developing an e-commerce website, often relying on small, amateur web design companies who also do not know what they are doing. Even large companies get it wrong, with most of the FTSE 100 companies website's failing legal accessibility guidelines and three quarters of consumers saying poor website usability has put them off dealing with a company.

Q. In the current economic downturn shouldn't I be cutting back?

A. The Internet has shown increased growth despite the economic downturn. For one reason or another, more and more people will be looking to start businesses online. In the current economic downturn, getting your website right, keeping ahead of the competition and making sure you are not losing revenue is more crucial than ever. Asking an impartial, external agency to review your site should be considered an investment.

Q. Do you check all of our website?

A. No. However, we do check the main pages that a user might visit. We test the Home and Product pages for how well optimised they are and validate several pages for legal accessibility and Web Standards. The purpose of the Website Analysis Report is to provide a general indication of the health of your website. If necessary, the report will make suggestions for further examination.

Q. Do you provide a service to e-commerce website's?

A. Yes. Our Standard Website Analysis Report includes a check of the purchase and payment procedures as part of the Usability Testing. However, for large e-commerce sites, we recommend a custom e-commerce report. Please contact us for details.

Q. How long will the report take to prepare?

A. We aim to complete Standard Website Analysis Reports within ten working days.
